VIT Vellore Inaugurates Two Week ACM India Summer School on Systems for ML

VIT Vellore University has officially inaugurated Two-Week ACM Summer School on Systems for Machine Learning (ML) starting from June 1, 2026. The program was initiated at the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCOPE), VIT Vellore, exclusively encouraging women participants to deep dive into advanced computing research and AI infrastructure. VIT Vellore Inaugurates Two-Week ACM India Summer School on Systems for ML

The ACM-India VIT Summer School was officially inaugurated on June 1, 2026 at SCOPE, VIT Vellore. This two- week intensive program aims to provide participants with strong-system oriented perspective for building scalable and machine learning solutions. The national-level initiative is exclusively designed for women participants to get involved in the world of advanced computing research and AI infrastructure. Out of 293 applications, 40 participants are representing 9 states across India. During the programme, students will be learning from top-tier speakers from IITs, IISc, and Qualcomm. 

Who can participate in VIT Vellore ACM-India Summer School?

This two-week program is exclusively curated for women participants (pre-final and final-year undergraduate students as well as postgraduate students). The progam is being held from June 1 to June 12, 2026.
