VIT offers scholarships for M. Tech programmes

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has invited applications for scholarship programmes which it is offering to students who want to pursue M. Tech (Master of Technology) courses in various disciplines on offer at the University’s Vellore and Chennai campuses. These scholarships are on offer for the programmes whose session is commencing in 2014.

As part of this scholarship programme, top six candidates with the highest GATE score will get a monthly stipend of Rs. 4000. Candidates who have applied for double degree programs in Communication Engineering from UAS, Darmstadt, Germany (under DADD fellowship) and in Sensor Systems from UAS, Karlsruhe will receive 3600 Euros ( Rs. 2.40 lakhs) as stipend provided have the top scores in GATE/ VITEEE.

Candidates are eligible to apply for this scholarship if they have graduated from a recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate. Candidates who are to appear for their final semester exams can also apply for scholarship in the M. Tech programmes.
