VITEEE Registration 2027 Update: Live Photo Introduced, Documents Required, Exam Fees

VITEEE 2027 exam registrations are ongoing, students can no longer required to upload their photo while filling out application form. Instead, candidates' photo will be captured in real time using a webcam or phone camera during registration. This decision aims to stop exam impersonation and fake candidates. In addition, application fee has been revised and uploading of 10th marksheet and address of correspondence is made mandatory for form fill-up.

In the past, the old passport-size photographs made it hard for exam invigilators to check identities at test centres. By capturing real-time photo during registration, VIT creates an accurate digital record for every candidate.

VITEEE Registration 2027: Live Photo Capture Instructions

• Sit or stand facing a plain or white background. Ensure that there are no shadows or reflections or patterns

• Position your head within the green guide box, keeping it centred with both ears visible

• Use soft and even lightning. Avoid backlighting or harsh shadows

• Keep eyes open and maintain neutral expression

• Ensure only face and shoulders are visible

• Hold the camera steady and preview before capturing the image

• After capturing use the crop tool that appears to fine-tuning framing, drag, zoom, and rotate as required then click "Crop and Save Photo"

• If the live photo capture fails, then check camera permissions and internet connectivity and try again

• Use latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for a smoother experience

The photo-captured during VIT 2027 application process will be used for generating admit card and scorecard for admission. This new implementation ensures standard security, transparency, and a fair test environment for all VITEEE 2027 aspirants.

Documents Required for VIT 2027 Registration

Candidates will have to upload the following documents during VITEEE registration 2027:

• Original 10th class marksheet

Apart from that, applicants must upload any of the following documents (as a proof of correspondence address) during registration-

• Aadhar card
• Passport
• Voter ID
• Driving License/LLR
• Ration card/family card highlighting candidate's name and address proof
• Address/Domicile/Residence certificate
• Bank passbook
• Post office passbook or stateent
• School ID with candidate's photo and correspondence address
