The third semester exams for undergraduate programmes at Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) will commence on April 1 and end on April 18. The exams will be held from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.  

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has released the timetable for third-semester exams of various undergraduate programmes offered by the university. BTech third-semester students who are appearing for the exams can check the tentative exam schedule on the official website of the VTU at www.vtu.ac.in. 

As per the latest circular issued by the university, the VTU third semester exams for undergraduate programmes will commence on April 1 for BE/BTech and end on April 18. The exams will be held from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. The timetable is for students of both regular and lateral entry. The circular read, “The principals of all constituent and affiliated engineering colleges are requested to go through the timetable and bring the contents of the same to the notice of all concerned.”

Practical exams from April 21 to 26 

The practical exams for both regular and lateral entry students will be held batch-wise from April 21 to 26, except holiday. For latest updates, students are advised to visit the university website on a regular basis. The exam hall tickets are expected to be available for download in the coming weeks. 

The Karnataka government is planning to upgrade the state-run VTU on a par with Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), said Higher Education Minister CN Ashwathnarayan. The 120-acre main campus of VTU in Belagavi would be the first to be upgraded as per the plan.
