West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will declare the WBJEE result on August 7, 2025. Candidates who appeared for exam have been waiting for WBJEE 2025 result date announcement for months. As per media reports, the WBJEE board chairperson Sonali Chakraborty Banerjee informed that the WBJEE result 2025 will be declared on August 7. When released, the WBJEE 2025 result link will be available on the official website: wbjeeb.nic.in.
They need to use their application form number and date of birth to download the WBJEE result 2025 online. The board is also likely to release the WBJEE 2025 merit list and cut-off marks alongside the West Bengal JEE result. The WBJEE 2025 exam was held on April 27, conducted in two shifts: the first from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and the second from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Why was WBJEE Rank Card 2025 Release Date Delayed?
The delay stemmed from a legal dispute over West Bengal’s OBC reservation list. The Calcutta High Court had stayed several OBC-related notifications, impacting 140 subcategories. However, on July 28, the Supreme Court overturned this stay, calling the order “prima facie erroneous.” With the legal hurdle cleared, the WBJEE results will now be declared on August 7, 2025.
