WBJEE 2025 Topper Aniruddha Chakraborty Secured JEE Advanced AIR 348; Currently Enrolled at IIT KGP
The WBJEE 2025 topper has also cracked the JEE Advanced 2025 exam and is currently admitted to IIT Kharagpur. Samyajyoti Biswas and Dishaanth Basu secured ranks 2 and 3, respectively. The WBJEE results were announced today after quite a delay.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam 2025 result was announced today, August 22, after a lot of legal fuss. The topper of WBJEE 2025 is Aniruddha Chakraborty, who has also secured 348 rank in JEE Advanced and 704 rank in JEE Mains. He has already taken admission in IIT Kharagpur and wants to pursue computer science engineering there. After the WBJEE 2025 result announcement today, this topper is sticking to his decision of pursuing BTech CSE from IIT Kharagpur. Classes and orientation programmes in all of the 23 IITs have begun for the batch of 2025-26. This year, IITs have offered a total of 18,160 to 54,378 candidates who qualified JEE Advanced 2025 exam.
The JEE Advanced 2025 results were announced on June 2, and the JoSAA counselling process for IIT admission was completed by July last week. On the other hand, the WBJEE 2025 entrance exam was held on April 27, and the results have been announced today. The WBJEE board is expected to release the counselling dates soon.
Steps to download the WBJEE 2025 result
To check the WBJEE rank card 2025, the candidates can follow the given steps.
- Go to wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee
- Click on the result link.
- Candidates will have to provide their application form number and date of birth.
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- Candidates will have to download and print out the results for future use.

Candidates will be able to appear for just Paper 1 of WBJEE. However, these candidates will not be allotted ranks for admission by the authorities. Therefore, the candidates are advised to attempt both papers of WBJEE - Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry). The authorities will conduct WBJEE paper as a computer-based test.
During the tie-breaking system, the authorities will follow the guidelines specified officially. If all of the guidelines in the given order fail to break the tie, then finally, the candidate older in age will be given a higher rank than the candidate who is younger.

Candidates will be able to select their choice of WBJEE exam centres online while filling out the application form. During the form filling process, the candidates will have to select and submit three preferred WBJEE exam zones. The selection of the zones have to be done in the order of preference.
