WBJEE Decentralised Counselling 2026: Will Phase 3 Be Held for Vacant Seats?

WBJEE DCAP 2026 has been held for two phases. While a number of students have been allocated, there are still many vacant seats left in the participating colleges. Due to a number of seats still left for allocation, students are expecting additional phases of WBJEE decentralised counselling 2026 to be announced. WBJEE 2026 Decentralised Counselling

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has concluded the two phases of WBJEE 2026 decentralised counselling. During the online decentralised WBJEE 2026 counselling process, candidates were allocated seats based on their rank, preferences and seat availability. Each phase of WBJEE DCAP 2026 had two rounds of allocation, where candidates were able to confirm their admission or opt for upgradation. For both phases, a total of 33,857 BTech seats across Government and Private colleges of the state were available for allotment. 

Will WBJEE 2026 DCAP Phase 3 be held?

As of now, WBJEEB has not made any official announcement regarding Phase 3 of WBJEE decentralised counselling 2026. However, there are still a number of vacant seats available in the participating institutes. Students are actively requesting the Board to conduct another round of WBJEE decentralised counselling. The students are particularly demanding an offline round of decentralised counselling, since they are not satisfied with the concept of multiple allocations and cutoffs for admission. In WBJEE DC, students were eligible for multiple allocations, and they were required to choose their preference and lock it down for admission.

WBJEE Decentralised Counselling 2026: Many Seats Still Remain Vacant

As per the official vacancy list provided on the WBJEE decentralised counselling admission portal, there are still a number of seats left for admissions. Due to the number of vacant seats listed, students remain hopeful that additional phases of decentralised counselling may be announced soon.
