West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board is yet to announce WBJEE registration date 2026. To participate in entrance exam and admission process, students will have to fill and submit WBJEE 2026 application form online at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee before final date. WBJEE application process is expected to start in last week of January, but no official notification has been released until now. WBJEE exam date 2026 has also not been announced.

WBJEE 2026 Registration: Shiksha Poll Shows 73 percent Students Prepared for Registration

According to online poll conducted by Shiksha, 73 percent out of participating students in the poll are ready for WBJEE registration 2026. Out of the remaining participating students, 17 percent are not ready and are still preparing for registration process. 7 percent of students are not prepared at all and 4 percent are not going to attempt WBJEE 2026 exam.

Why is WBJEE 2026 exam date announcement delayed?

As per previous years’ trends, WBJEE exam date 2026 was expected to be announced in December 2025. However, WBJEEB authorities have not released any official notice regarding the state level engineering entrance examination and admission process. No official reason for WBJEE 2026 exam date delay has been notified. However, according to reports, the delay may be due to upcoming state elections in March-April 2026 or because previous year’s counselling ended late due to OBC reservation issue. Official WBJEE notification 2026 will be released at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. WBJEEB is expected to conduct WBJEE 2026 exam in the last week of April as a pen and paper based test.
