FYJC Admissions 2022: First Year Junior College admissions, i.e. Class 1 admissions in Maharashtra have been delayed. The admissions process was supposed to commence on May 17, however, now the process stands postponed. Students will have to wait until May 23 for the mock round to start after which the first stage of form-filling will be opened for candidates.
Technical glitches surrounding FYJC online admissions
The centralized online admission system for FYJC is conducted for Class 11 admissions in a few cities of Maharashtra. However, the same has been a cause of worry due to technical glitches every year. As per the official FYJC admission schedule released earlier by the education department, the mock round was expected to start on May 1 to go on until May 14.
The website was supposed to make the FYJC admission registration link live on May 17, to make aspiring candidates fill out the first part of the form with personal details. The second part of the form which included giving preferences of colleges was going to start after the declaration of board exam results.
As Maharashtra HSC, SSC board results are yet to be released and non-state board exams continued until late a few days ago. There are chances that the students from non-state board schools will miss out on practice with the mock round; the admission schedule was put on hold.
According to the Indian Express, the FYJC admissions 2022 mock round will start on May 23. Due to the delay in starting the mock round, the registration process which was expected to commence on May 17 is delayed too.
