The state order of Diwali break is valid for both the private and public schools that are affiliated with HPBOSE.

The Himachal Pradesh government has decided to give a Diwali break in all schools affiliated to the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) and has made the announcement for the same. As per the government order, schools in the state will remain closed from November 1 to November 6.

The state order of Diwali break is valid for both the private and public schools that are affiliated with HPBOSE.

Meanwhile, HPBOSE has also released the HPBOSE 10th, 12th datasheet for board exams 2021. HPBOSE Class 10 exam will be conducted from November 20 and will continue till December 3. HPBOSE Class 12 exam will begin on November 18 and will conclude on December 9.

It must be noted that the HPBOSE Board Exams 2021 will be conducted from 8.45 am to 12 pm. The exams will be conducted offline and the set of guidelines has been shared by the state Board. As per the guidelines, invigilating staff will be required to wear face masks regularly, students appearing for the examination will have to report 30 minutes prior to the exam and they will have to wash hands and use sanitizer before going to the exam hall, and other guidelines mention in the SOP released by the government should be followed.

Meanwhile, a report has stated that a total of 465 schoolchildren have tested positive for COVID-19 in Himachal Pradesh since schools reopened for regular classes on September 27. While talking about this on Saturday, a state government official said that on October 22, 210 students have recovered and rest are still in home isolation.
