The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the MAH BHMCT CET Counselling 2026 schedule for admission to First Year Bachelor of Hotel
Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and Master of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (Integrated) programmes for academic session 2026-27.
The online registration process closed on July 22, 2026. Document verification and application confirmation ended on July 23, 2026, at 5 PM.

MAH BHMCT Counselling 2026: Admission Process
The counselling process is conducted online through CAP. Candidates are required to complete following steps:
- Register online and upload all required documents.
- Complete document verification through E-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny.
- Check provisional and final merit lists.
- Fill and confirm CAP option form during each counselling round.
- Download seat allotment result.
- Accept allotted seat by paying a non-refundable seat acceptance fee of INR 1,000.
- Report to allotted institute within prescribed deadline to confirm admission.
Freeze and Betterment Options Explained
After seat allotment, candidates can choose:
- Freeze: Accept allotted seat and exit further CAP rounds.
- Not Freeze (Betterment): Retain current allotted seat while remaining eligible for higher preference allotments in subsequent counselling rounds.
Documents Required for MAH BHMCT Counselling 2026
Candidates belonging to reserved categories must upload valid certificates during admission process.
These include:
- Caste Certificate
- Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (valid up to March 31, 2027, wherever applicable)
- EWS Certificate (for EWS candidates)
- Other reservation-related documents as applicable
Candidates who fail to upload and verify required original certificates by reporting deadline of fourth CAP round may have their admission cancelled or may be treated as General category candidates for subsequent rounds.
Institute-Level MAH BHMCT CET Admission Schedule
After completion of CAP rounds, participating institutes will conduct institute-level admissions for vacant seats. The institute-level admission process will begin on September 7, 2026. The last date for admission is September 15, 2026.
