Admissions to PhD programmes are conducted twice every year, in January and July. The university has also mentioned that maximum duration for completing a PhD programme is six years.

Students having UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, GATE, GPAT, ICMR-JRF/SRF, ICAR-AICE-JRF/SRF, DST-INSPIRE, and DBT-JRF are exempted from appearing in PhD Entrance Test (PET). The application fee is provided below: 

Students who enrol in PhD course have to complete coursework, research, seminars and report submissions. Amity University's PhD programmes will give students book learning and real-world scenarios. Students can apply through either the Master's degree route or through the four-year Bachelor's degree route in some cases.
