Ashoka University Young India Fellowship registration 2025 is ongoing till March 10, 2025, for students having undergraduate degrees, in any discipline, on or before July 2025.

Ashoka University will conclude the second and final round of applications for the Young India Fellowship (YIF) Class of 2026 on March 10, 2025. Students willing to apply for a year-long residential postgraduate diploma flagship programme can apply online from the university's website. All Fellows selected for the Young India Fellowship (Class of 2025-26) will receive scholarships ranging from 25% to a full 100% waiver covering tuition, residence, and meals along with stipends for additional financial assistance. Meanwhile, the Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship will also continue to be awarded in the Class of 2026.

I look forward to supporting this ambitious programme and to teaching future generations of Fellows, which continues to be among my most cherished experiences.”

Ashoka University YIF 2025-26: Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process

The Class of 2026 will have around 100 Fellows of all age groups and nationalities, across diverse academic, professional, geographical and socioeconomic backgrounds. The participants having a recognised undergraduate degree in any discipline by July 2025 or earlier are eligible to apply for the YIF. The final round of admissions for the class of 2025-26 is ongoing.

Applicants are suggested to apply at the earliest to be part of the rolling personal interview process. Aspiring candidates can apply by visiting apply.ashoka.edu.in to register and complete the online application. After reviewing applications, a few candidates will be selected for personal interviews. Some of them may also be invited to interview for the Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship.

The merit cum means scholarship is offered to exceptional undergraduate students intending to major in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics or Computer Science at Ashoka.
