The number of universities participating in CUET PG 2025 has increased to 174. However, NTA is still accepting applications from universities that wish to join CUET PG 2024 until March 7, 2025.

CUET PG 2025 Number of Participating Universities

National Testing Agency has updated the CUET PG 2025 participating universities list for the academic session 2025-26. At present, a total of 176 universities have been named in the CUET PG participating universities list 2025. Meanwhile, NTA is inviting applications from universities willing to participate in CUET PG 2025. Universities willing to be named among CUET PG participating universities list can register for participation till March 7, 2025.

The CUET PG 2025 includes a diverse range of participating universities, with 41 Central Universities, 38 State Universities, 12 Government Institutes, 14 Deemed Universities, and 70 Private Universities.

CUET PG 2025 New Added Universities 

The following universities have been added to the list of participating universities in CUET PG 2025: Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University, Institute of Management Studies at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Maharaja Surajmal Brij University, Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Ratan Tata Maharashtra State Skills University, International Institute for Population Sciences, Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, MNR University in Fasalwadi, Sunbeam College for Women, and Poornima University.

Top Universitiets Under CUET PG 2025 

Meanwhile, students willing to apply for the entrance examination are also provided with the list of top CUET PG 2025 universities which students can consider for admission. CUET PG 2025 will feature several top universities as per the NIRF rankings. Among the leading institutions participating in the exam are prestigious Central Universities like Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), University of Delhi (DU), and Banaras Hindu University (BHU), known for their academic excellence. Other prominent universities include the University of Hyderabad and Jamia Millia Islamia, which consistently rank high in various academic categories.

As per the latest news, the CUET PG 2025 date sheet is expected to be announced during the fourth week of February. Further, the advance city intimation slip is likely to be released in the second week of March 2025 followed by the admit card in the second week of March as well.

Q:   What are the Masters courses offered through CUET PG?
A:

CUET PG 2026 is a national-level entrance exam for candidates who wish to pursue their Masters degree from the central universities. From the past years, many other state, private, and deemed universities is participating in the CUET PG examination. The examination will offer admission to a range of master's courses including normal and professional degree courses:

Q:   Do all universities take MBA admission through CUET-PG?
A:

The choice of entrance exam for MBA, differs from university to university. If we take the example of MBA admissions in IMS Indore, School of Management, and AKS University we will see that among them also there is not much uniformity over the choice of entrance exam chosen for MBA admissions.

In the case of IMS Indore and AKS University, both of them only take into account the CUET-PG score of the candidate, whereas, in the case of School of Management – XAT, ITM, NEST, CMAT, CAT, ATMA exam scores can be considered for admission.
