Assam Royal Global University Signs MoU with Nagaland Police to Offer Scholarships for Families of Police Personnel
Assam Royal Global University has signed an MoU with Nagaland Police to provide scholarships and higher education opportunities to the wards and dependents of police and security personnel.
Assam Royal Global University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Nagaland Police. The MoU aims to expand higher education opportunities for the families of police staff. The agreement was signed at Office of the Director General of Police in Kohima in presence of senior officials from both organisations. The partnership aims to help the wards and dependents of police and security personnel pursue quality higher education through scholarships and academic support.
The MoU between both organisation was signed by Director General of Police, Nagaland, Rupin Sharma, IPS, and Dr. D.N. Singh, Registrar (Academics), Assam Royal Global University. The university will introduce two special scholarship schemes, namely Royal Shaurya and Royal Suraksha, for eligible dependents of family of police staff. The initiative will be useful for serving personnel, ex-servicemen, personnel with disabilities, and families of those who died during job.
Nagaland Police Welcomes Scholarship Initiative
Speaking on the occasion, DGP Rupin Sharma said that partnership will benefit the children and dependents of Nagaland Police personnel. He expressed hope that the collaboration would be utilised to provide quality higher education and create better opportunities for people.
Dr. D.N. Singh, Registrar (Academics), Assam Royal Global University, said the university is honoured to partner with Nagaland Police. He added that the institution aims to recognise the contributions of police personnel by ensuring that their families have access to quality higher education.
