CUET UG 2023 application window reopens for three days; Check details here

Earlier, NTA closed the CUET 2023 application form submission window on March 30 at 9:50 PM. The last date to deposit CUET 2023 application fee was March 30 at 11:50 PM.

CUET 2023 application window reopen: National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened CUET 2023 application widow for three days. According to the latest tweet posted by UGC Chairman, CUET UG 2023 application process begins again from April 9 until April 11. Students who have not applied for CUET 2023 have another chance to submit the CUET 2023 application form. CUET UG 2023 application window will now close on Tuesday (11 April 2023) at 11:59 PM. 

UGC Commission Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar tweeted, "Following requests from several students, we have decided to re-open the application portal for CUET-UG on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and will close at 11.59 pm on Tuesday (11 April 2023). Students are requested to visit https://cuet.samarth.ac.in for more details."

NTA conducts CUET 2023 under the Ministry of Education (MoE). The exam is conducted to provide admission in various UG and PG courses in various Central Universities. The CUET exam will be conducted separately for Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses. Candidates who will qualify for the exam will be able to get admission to various universities such as JNU, BHU, Delhi University, etc. CUET UG 2023 application correction window was opened from April 1 to April 3. According to the official schedule, announcement of the CUET UG 2023 exam city will be done on April 30, 2023.

CUET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have met the eligibility criteria set by NTA to apply and appear for CUET 2023. The eligibility parameters are as follows:

• Students should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board in Science or a relevant stream to be admitted to bachelor’s degree programmes in the Central Universities.
• Students in Class 12 who are yet to appear for the Board exam were also eligible to apply.
• There is no age limit for appearing in the CUET UG 2023 exam. 

How to fill CUET  2023 Application Form?

Candidates seeking admission could apply for CUET via online mode on the official website of the exam as per the steps mentioned below:

Step 3: Examination Centre Selection: Candidates will have to choose two examination state and city choices in the preferential order in which they wish to appear for the exam.

Step 4: University/Programme Selection: Candidates will have to apply for one or more universities and programmes from the dropdown menu and click on the Add button. Candidates may change the selected universities/programmes by clicking on the ‘Update’ tab.

Step 5: Test Paper/Subject Selection: Candidates will have to select a minimum of three and a maximum 10 subjects or papers. Along with the subject selection, candidates will also have to select the medium or language of the question paper they wish to opt for. In case of selecting less than 10 subjects, candidates will have to select NA: Not Applicable option for the rest of the subject fields.

Step 6: Upload Photograph and Signature

After this step, candidates will have to verify each and every detail entered and also verify their email id. They will receive an OTP in the email id and upon entering that, they will programmed to the CUET 2023 application fee payment section.

Step 7: Application Fee Payment

Candidates will have to pay the CUET 2023 registration fee online (net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ UPI/ Wallet). It may be noted that candidates’ application fee status (paid/ not paid) would appear on the form.

Upon successful payment, an application confirmation message will be displayed on the screen and the confirmation message and PDF will be sent to the candidates’ registered email ID as well.
