Delhi University Invites Applications for Competence Enhancement Scheme (CES) 2025–26
Delhi University has opened applications for Competence Enhancement Scheme (CES) 2025–26, allowing learners of any age to study select papers in DU departments and colleges as supernumerary students. Registration is open; admissions begin January 31, 2026.
University of Delhi is inviting applications from interested candidates to its Competence Enhancement Scheme (CES) 2025-26 for papers offered by the University departments (in II and IV semester) and colleges (in II, IV and VI semester) of the academic session 2025-26.
As envisaged in the NEP 2020, CES endeavors to provide an opportunity for knowledge enhancement to the learners of any age to get enrolled and study along with the regular students of existing courses offered by the departments and colleges of the University of Delhi. The expected outcomes of this scheme are to fulfill educational dreams of those who could not get opportunity earlier, to upgrade academic and professional skills using latest technology, knowledge and innovation, and therefore enable senior and non-senior citizens to continue as lifelong learners.
Any person who fulfills the minimum eligibility criteria and pre-requisites, if any, specified for an existing paper, can register for the same. Selection for admission for any paper depends on the availability of seats in the respective departments and colleges. The seats under CES in a course shall be treated as supernumerary.
For details regarding list of available papers offered by Departments and Colleges, eligibility criteria, registration, and fee structure etc., candidates can refer to the CES e-brochure on the following portal of the University (www.admission.uod.du.ac.in) as well as on the website of the nodal coordinating institute of the University i.e. Institute of Lifelong Learning (ILLL) (www.illl.du.ac.in) or any other course offered by a department /college of Delhi University.
