Delhi University to conduct DU PG admissions through CUET PG from 2023

The varsity has formulated a 10-member team to come up with a PG admission strategy for 2023-24. These members sent the proposal for DU PG admissions to be carried out through CUET PG from the next year onwards.

DU PG Admission 2023: The University of Delhi has decided to discontinue the DUET PG entrance exam from the next academic session and instead take ahead PG admissions through CUET PG 2023. The proposal to conduct admission through CUET PG 2023 has been approved by DU academic council.

The varsity has formulated a 10-member team to come up with a PG admission strategy for 2023-24. These members sent the proposal for DU PG admissions to be carried out through CUET PG from the next year onwards.

How Delhi University conducts PG Admission?

Presently, the University of Delhi fill 50% of its PG seats directly through the scores or merit of students who cleared their graduation from DU colleges, and the other half of the seats are filled through the DUET PG, the Delhi University Entrance Test for PG students.

Change in DU PG Admissions

According to the academic council, 50% of seats that are earmarked for direct admissions for DU UG students will remain as it is while the other half of the seats be offered for admission through CUET PG. The 50% seats which will be filled through CUET PG will have a separate merit list from the other half which will be filled directly.
