Indira Gandhi National Open University has started the IGNOU 2025 January session admission. Students willing to apply for IGNOU registration 2025 for ODL programmes can now fill the application form online till January 31, 2025. Students willing to fill the IGNOU admission form 2025 need to create their DEB ID. The DEB ID is mandatory for the submission of the application. Further, eligible students can also apply for government of India scholarships on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at scholarships.gov.in once the admission is confirmed.

Students have to follow the below steps to fill IGNOU 2025 application form:
- Visit the official website - ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
- Click on the 'IGNOU registration' link displayed on the screen
- Add the required personal and basic academic details to complete the initial registration
- Select a username and create a strong password
- Login with the allotted credentials to fill IGNOU 2025 application form.
- Make payment of the IGNOU 2025 registration fee and submit the application form.
Students need to keep their documents i.e. scanned photograph, scanned signature, scanned copy of relevant educational qualification, scanned copy of experience certificate and scanned copy of category certificate ready to fill their application form.

IGNOU admission is conducted in two cycles, i.e. January and July. While the registrations for the January session generally get over in March, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) admission for the July session opens in June and remains open till Jul-Aug. The admissions are mainly based on the aggregate obtained by candidates in the last qualifying degree.
