IGNOU Jan 2026 Admission Deadline for ODL, Online Programmes Extended Again; Check Last Date

IGNOU Jan admission last date 2026 for ODL and Online Programmes has been extended once again. To apply for IGNOU ODL or online programmes, candidates can visit and apply at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in or ignouiop.samarth.edu.in, respectively. 

IGNOU Jan 2026 Admission Deadline for ODL, Online Programmes Extended Again

IGNOU Jan Admission 2026: Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended IGNOU application deadline for ODL and online programmes once again. Now, last date to complete IGNOU Jan 2026 ODL and online programmes is April 10. IGNOU Jan admission date extension is for those who want to apply afresh for this session.

To apply for IGNOU ODL programme, candidates can visit at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Whereas, to apply for IGNOU Jan online programme, they can complete registration at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. Earlier, last date to fill out IGNOU January registration form 2026 was March 30. It must be noted that, no extension has been given for certificate courses and programmes that follow a semester-based academic structure.

IGNOU TEE 2026 Assignment Submission Deadline

IGNOU has also extended last date for submission of assignments for June Term End Examinations (TEE) 2026. The decision is applicable to students enrolled in both Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes, including GOAL and EVBB. Deadline to submit IGNOU TEE assignments has been extended to April 30, 2026. As per notification, students must submit both hard copies and soft copies of their assignments. 

The notice further emphasises that this extension is final. Assignments must be submitted to respective Assignment Section, following the existing guidelines already shared by the university. The university has cautioned that assignments submitted after last date, may not be accepted.
