IGNOU January Re-Registration 2026 Last Date Extended Again; Now Apply Till Feb 15 at ignou.ac.in

IGNOU Jan re-registration date 2026 has been extended again for distance learning (ODL) and online programmes. Now, candidates can complete IGNOU re-registration 2026 till Feb 15. Check steps to apply

IGNOU Re-Registration 2026: Indira Gandhi National Open University has once again extended IGNOU January 2026 re-registration deadline. Candidates who are yet to complete the process must fill out IGNOU re-registration form 2026 by February 15. Through this, they can apply for upcoming semester. The Open University has extended application deadline for all online distance learning and online mode programmes except for certificate and semester-based programmes. 

IGNOU has also asked candidates to have a computer or laptop with internet and be comfortable with online learning before enrolling in IGNOU online programmes. No physical study material is provided for online courses. For courses, other than online, candidates can opt for ODL mode. How to complete IGNOU Re-registration 2026 for January Session?

Candidates can complete IGNOU January 2026 re-registration by going through these steps 

• Go to official website onlinerr.ignou.ac.in
• Select IGNOU January 2026 re-registration option on homepage
• Log in using IGNOU user ID, password and security PIN
• Click login button
• Fill in re-registration form and choose course
•  Pay IGNOU re-registration fee and submit form
• Also, save last page 

To complete IGNOU re-registration, they must pay INR 300 for January 2026 session for both ODL and online programmes. Earlier, deadline for IGNOU January 2026 re-registration was January 31, 2026. When registering for IGNOU January 2026 ODL programmes, they must upload their photograph, signature, academic qualification certificates, experience certificate and category certificate if applicable.
