IGNOU Jan ODL Registration 2026: Indira Gandhi National Open University has once again extended last date for submission of IGNOU Jan admission applications for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes. As per latest update, candidates can now complete their IGNOU Jan registration 2026 for ODL programmes until March 30. They need to visit official website ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in to complete IGNOU admission registration form 2026. 

To apply, candidates need to visit the official IGNOU admission website and select the “Register Online” option followed by “Fresh Admission”. Earlier, last date to fill out IGNOU January registration form 2026 was March 15. It must be noted that, this extension does not cover certificate courses and programmes that follow a semester-based academic structure.

How to complete IGNOU January Registration 2026 for ODL Programmes?

IGNOU ODL application for Jan admission can be filled online. Candidates can check these steps to know how to apply for IGNOU admission 2026 

• Visit official website: ignou.ac.in
• On homepage, click on IGNOU Jan Admission link
• A new page with two links: Online and ODL will be displayed 
• Click on one of them and complete IGNOU admission registration by entering all details
• Login, fill up IGNOU application form and pay fees
• Submit IGNOU admission form and take a printout for further references

IGNOU had earlier opened registrations for January admission 2026 in phases. Applications for ODL programmes began on December 16, 2025, while IGNOU Jan registration for online programmes started on December 24, 2025. IGNOU January admission cycle allows candidates to enrol in various undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programmes offered through flexible learning modes.
