The second international conference on Cyber-Physical Systems, Power Electronics and Electric Vehicles (ICPEEV 2024) was held for three days to cover emerging technologies in electric vehicles (EV), battery management systems, power converters, and grid integration.

Mahindra University organised its second international conference on Cyber-Physical Systems, Power Electronics and Electric Vehicles (ICPEEV 2024). The three-day ICPEEV 2024 conference aimed to host researchers, scientists and engineers from around the world to exchange insights, and ideas and communicate for latest research progress in the field of science. The conference covered a lot of prominent areas of discussion including battery management systems, power converters, emerging technologies in electric vehicles (EV) and grid integration. The panel discussed matters related to computational intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), cyber-physical systems (CPS) and renewable energy systems.

Chief Guest Sukumar Mishra, Director at IIT Dhanbad, praised the conference saying “I believe that through collaboration and innovation, we can address the challenges of energy efficiency and sustainability, laying the foundation for a cleaner, more reliable energy future. Let us work together to push the boundaries of science and technology, ensuring that the solutions we develop today will shape a better tomorrow”.

Besides, Dr. Yajulu Medury, Vice Chancellor of Mahindra University was present during the event. He said “fostering innovation and collaboration” in the field of research and development is at the core of what Mahindra University stands for." 

Researchers around the world highlighted their projects in 63 technical papers and four keynotes on Model-Based Design for Automotive Systems using Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB) and Simulink; EVSE Charging and Smart Grid Security; Algorithms for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles and convergence of power electronics, CPS, EV and quantum technologies.
