PUBDET 2025 Schedule

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is going to conduct the Presidency University Bachelor's Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET) 2025 on June 21 and 22, 2025, in three shifts. The applications for this university-level entrance exam have ended on April 28, 2025. Currently, the application correction window is open on the official website - wbjeeb.nic.in/pubdet/ until May 2, 2025. PUBDET 2025 admit cards are scheduled to be released on June 6, 2025. The exam is conducted for admissions to the BA and BSc programmes at Presidency University, Kolkata. Q: Β  Can I get direct admission in Presidency University Kolkata?
A:

Students who are looking for admissions at the UG and PG level course, the student have to appear the entrance exams. For UG course, Presidency University, Kolkata has PUBDET and for PG courses, it has PUMDET. Since, the university is adhered to the entrance exam scores, there are no any other medium to get admission apart from this. 

Q: Β  Will the PUBDET exam be conducted on a Computer?
A:

The PUBDET exam will be conducted in offline mode i.e. pen and paper test. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts the Presidency University Bachelor's Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET) in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in BA and BSc  (honours) programmes offered at Presidency University, Kolkata. PUBDET comprises separate entrance exams that are conducted to offer admission to aspirants in different Science and humanities programmes offered at Presidency University at the undergraduate level. 

Q: Β  When will PUBDET 2025 be conducted?
A:

PUBDET 2025 is to be conducted on June 21 and 22, 2025. The dates may be changed at the descretion of WBJEEB in case of unforseen circumstances. The exam will be conducted in 16 examination zones across West Bengal. Aspirants must select at least two while filling the application form. More details about the exam day like exam centre address, reporting time, etc. will be published in th PUBDET admit card which is to be released on June 6, 2025, on the exam's official web portal - wbjeeb.nic.in/pubdet/.
