RAI Partners with VJIM Hyderabad to Launch Bridge Course in Retail Management
Retailers Association of India and VJIM Hyderabad sign MoU to offer a bridge course in retail management, combining classroom training and industry exposure.
Retailers Association of India (RAI), which represents Indian retailers, has signed an agreement with VJIM, Hyderabad. They will start a Bridge Course in Functional Retail Management. This course will help students learn both theory and practical skills needed for retail jobs.
The goal is to make students ready for the retail industry by teaching them what is missing in normal management education. RAI will give 30 hours of classroom training. Students will do live projects, visit stores, and get guidance from senior retail experts.Topics include:
- Customer Experience
- Store Operations
- Merchandising
- Shopper Behavior
- Retail IT and CRM
- Retail Marketing
Kumar Rajagopalan, CEO, RAI, said: “With the Indian retail sector evolving rapidly, there is a growing demand for professionals who have both management acumen and a practical understanding of retail dynamics. - First batch: 48 students at VJIM campus in Hyderabad
- VJIM will manage student enrollment and provide facilities
- The agreement is valid for 1 year from 27 November 2025
