UGC Directs Universities, Colleges to Upload 2025 Student Records by June 30

University Grants Commission has directed all higher education institutions (HEIs) and credit awarding institutions to upload student’s academic records for examination year 2025 on National Academic Depository (NAD) and Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) platform by June 30, 2026.
In a notice released, UGC stressed need for timely uploading of academic records and credit data to strengthen implementation of Academic Bank of Credits framework under National Education Policy 2020.
Academic Records Must Be Uploaded by June 30
According to UGC notice, universities and colleges must upload marksheets, grade sheets and related credit information for exam year 2025 on NAD ABC platform before June 30 deadline. Commission also clarified that corrections or modifications to records already uploaded may be allowed only in exceptional cases. UGC has warned that institutions failing to upload records by June 30 may not get another opportunity to submit fresh records later. It must be noted that, corrections to already uploaded records may be permitted in exceptional circumstances, subject to rules of NAD ABC platform.
