ICSE, ISC Board exams 2023: Class 10, 12 exams to be held once a year, syllabus released

CISCE Board exams 2023: After CBSE, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has decided to hold ICSE, ISC board exams annually from the next academic session, i.e, the Class 10, 12 examinations will be held only once. The same has been informed via an official notification by the Council. The board exams for ICSE and ISC will be conducted in the months of February and March 2023. The CISCE has also released the ICSE, ISC Syllabus 2023. The ICSE, ISC Syllabus 2023 has been made available online at cisce.org in the form of PDF files. However, the specimen papers for all subjects will be made available on the official CISCE website -- cisce.org in the month of July 2022, the statement added.
"It has been decided by CISCE to conduct only ONE EXAMINATION at the end of the academic year 2023 at both ICSE and ISC levels. CISCE proposes to hold the said examinations tentatively in the months of February/March 2023," the official notice read. "Please note the Syllabus for the ICSE & ISC Year 2023 Examination has been revised in select subjects. The revised syllabus is available on the CISCE website, under the Publication Section," it further reads.

Last year (2021-22), the board had decided to conduct the examinations for classes 10 and 12 in two terms owing to the circumstances due to COVID-19. The Term 1 Result was released on February 7 for ICSE as well as ISC. The Semester 2 Result 2022 will be declared in July.
