IIM Amritsar invites applications for 'Doctoral Programme'; Apply by Feb 25

Applicants must note that the last date to apply for IIM Amritsar Doctoral Programme is February 25, 2022. Selected candidates will receive offer letters by the end of May 2022.

IIM Amritsar Admissions 2022: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar has commenced the admission application process for the Doctoral Programme batch of 2022-23. The doctoral programme at IIM Amritsar aims to produce high-quality management researchers to build their careers in the field of academia, government and industry. Candidates interested in IIM Amritsar Admissions 2022 for Doctoral Programme must note that its structure includes two-year of rigorous course work followed by a maximum of three-year of research work resulting in a good thesis with practical implications. Highly motivated candidates with strong academic credentials and curiosity to pursue original research are admitted by IIM Amritsar under this programme.

Interested applicants can apply in various areas of specialisations such as economics, IT & information system, Finance, Accounting & Control, Marketing & Communication, Quantitative Methods & Operations Management, Organizational Behaviour & HRM, Strategic Management.

IIM Amritsar Doctoral Programme: Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates applying for the programme must possess a master’s degree or post graduate diploma or its equivalent in any discipline with first class.

Or

BTech (4-year degree) with 6.5 CGPA or equivalent

Or

Any professional qualification such as ACS/CA/ICWA/S/CFA (USA) with a graduate degree in the relevant subject with at least 55 % aggregate marks or equivalent.

Selection Process

Candidates fulfilling the above-mentioned eligibility criteria are required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT). Candidates who have already appeared for GATE/GRE/JRF/GMAT can apply in the relevant areas of specialization. Scores in these exams taken during the last two years will be considered during selection.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic profile, performance in competitive exams, and research interests. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview, Research Aptitude Test and Written Analysis Test.
