IIM Calcutta invites admission applications for PGDBA 2022; Apply by Feb 15

The application process commenced on January 20, 2022. Candidates interested in PGDBA admissions must note that the last date to apply for the programme is February 15, 2022.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has invited applications for Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics. The programme is jointly offered by three premier institutes: IIM Calcutta, IIT Kharagpur, ISI Kolkata. The application process commenced on January 20, 2022. Candidates interested in PGDBA admissions must note that the last date to apply for the programme is February 15, 2022. The admission to Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics will be based on PGDBA 2022 examination. According to the official schedule, the computer-based admission exam will be conducted on March 27, 2022.

According to the official course brochure, “The course prepares its students to meet the mathematical, technological rigors of Business Analytics and Data Science and facilitates their applications in Business.”

Candidates willing to apply for the programme must hold a graduate/postgraduate degree with at least 60% aggregate or CGPA 6.5. Candidates with 10+3 (Engineering diploma) +3(lateral entry into BE/BTech) with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the qualifying degree (i.e. BTech.BE).

A one-year MBA will not be considered equivalent of MSc/MCom. The qualifying marks for SC/ST and person with disabilities (PwD) category candidates shall be 55% or CGPA 6.0.

A few key stats from the final placements of the PGDBA 2019-21 batch are as follows:

•  Average CTC (INR) 26.48 LPA
•  Median CTC (INR) 24.54 LPA
•  Highest CTC (INR) 36.25LPA
