IIM Trichy Begins IIM CAP 2022; Check Dates, Process and Documents Required

IIM CAP 2022 for MBA/PGP admissions to nine IIMs has begun. Check application dates, PI schedule, form filling process and documents required. 

IIM Trichy has started the IIM Common Admission Process (CAP) 2022 for nine institutes from January 19, 2022. The IIM CAP is conducted for  IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu, IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Trichy and IIM Udaipur. Every year, one of these institutes are given the responsibility to conduct the common admission process or PGP/MBA programmes. Candidates who are interested in applying for these IIMs, can fill the online application form available at IIM Trichy website.

How to Apply for IIM CAP 2022

The candidates can apply for IIM CAP 2022 with the help of their CAT 2021 login ID. Check steps to follow:

• Open IIM Trichy website
• Click on the link indicating IIM CAP 2022 or click here: http://cap2022iimtrichy.in/
• Go to candidate login and press 'click here'
• Click on candidate sign in and enter CAT registration ID
• Enter password, captcha code and click on submit
• Fill the CAP form, upload relevant documents and click on submit

Qualifying CAT 2021 Cut Offs for IIM CAP

The table below indicates minimum CAT percentile required to be eligible for shortlisting for PI round of these nine IIMs:

Document Required for IIM CAP 2022

• Photograph (Less than 100 KB).
• Signature (Less than 100 KB).
• Photo Identity Card Document
• CAT 2021 Scorecard
• Class 10 and 12 marksheets with a pass certificate

Graduation related certificates:

• Graduation marksheet of all semesters/years.
• Degree Certificate is required for those who have completed the graduation before 2020.
• Provisional Degree Certificate is required for those who have completed the graduation in the year of 2021 but not received the degree certificate.
• Those who are in the final year graduation, should upload the certificate as per the format available on the website.
• Certificate and mark sheets of any other degree-Masters/Professional Qualification as mentioned in the CAP form.

Experience related certificates:

• Experience Certificate of all past companies on the company letterhead with seal and signature of the competent authority or
• offer letter/Joining letter with a first-month payslip and payslip of the latest two months.
• A candidate who is a company proprietor or partner of a firm has to provide document proof such as the income tax for the relevant period and a certificate of registration for doing a business from the Municipal Corporation or appropriate authorities such as MSME certificate issued by the Government of India. They also need to provide Udyog Aadhar Registration Certificate, Partnership deed of the firm duly signed by all partners and GST registration certificate.
• If a candidate has worked or is working in the unorganised sector, then he/she has to provide the cash voucher along with the bank statement as a proof for the salary and the GST registration of the firm with the experience certificate.
