IIT Tirupati to hold end semester examination in physical mode
The classes for UG (B.Tech) and PG (M.Tech) courses are being held in hybrid mode.
The Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati (IIT Tirupati) will conduct its end semester examinations in physical mode. The examinations will be held in the month of December at the campus of the institute.
Issuing a statement of return of the student to campus, IIT Tirupati has stated that the Institute is fully operational with 100 percent of staff and faculty members working in person.
β95 percent of the employees and 90 percent of the students on campus got both doses of vaccination,β reads a statement by IIT Tirupati.
As of date, 500 students are back on campus across all the Undergraduate (B.Tech) and Postgraduate programs. The remaining students are expected to return to campus in batches before December 5 2021.
The end semester examinations are going to be held in physical mode on the campus in the month of December 2021. Currently, the classes for UG and PG courses are being held in hybrid mode.
IIT Tirupati established in 2015 is an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It is declared as an Institute of National Importance under the Act of Parliament of India (Institutes of Technology Act, 1961).
The institute launched its academic programme with the support of its mentor institute, IIT Madras, on August 5, 2015, from a temporary campus situated in Tirupati. IIT Tirupati is the first among the third generation IITs to have laid its foundation stone in March 2015.
