This year onwards, the Department of Pre University Education will introduce 40-page answer booklets for the students appearing in board exams. This decision is taken to avoid misplacement and tearing of extra sheets during the evaluation process.
According to the latest update, Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2020 will be declared only after the declaration of Karnataka State CET Results. The decision was of declaring II PU examination result after Karnatak State Common Entrance Test was taken by primary and secondary education minister S Suresh Kumar in a meeting on January 16. Students who are waiting for 2nd PUC results i.e. Karnataka 12th result 2020 must know that it will now be declared later than usual, and only after the declaration of Karnataka CET results 2020.
According to a tweet from S Suresh Kumar’s official twitter handle, a meeting was held with the directors of the Department of Pre-University Education on January 16. In the meeting, the state education minister was also informed about some major changes that will be implemented in the Karnataka board examinations 2020.
During the meeting, it was decided that this year onwards, The Department of Pre University Education will introduce 40-page answer booklets for the students appearing in board exams. This decision is taken to avoid misplacement or tearing of extra sheets, during the evaluation process. It was also informed that for the 2020 board exam, a total of 2,46,772 students will appear for the 2nd PUC Exam 2020. Almost 1016 exam centres are designated for theoretical exams and the practical exams will take place in 1014 centres.
The PUE director also mentioned that the final hall tickets or admit cards for the 2nd PUC exam will be released by the board on January 17. According to the officials, almost 35,156 have registered for the evaluation of answer booklets.
