Karnataka Bandh to not affect the PU I examinations
Karnataka Sanghatanegala Okkaoota has called the Karnataka Bandh asking for a 200 percent reservation in the non-technical jobs in the government for the pro-Kannadiga.
The pro-Kannada organisation’s Karnataka bandh call will not affect the Pre-university course I examination. According to the reports, there will be no holiday for schools and colleges due to the Karnataka bandh call. Karnataka’s minister of primary and secondary education, S Suresh Kumar stated that the local official can take a call depending upon the situation in the respective areas of the state. He further added that neither the government nor the school department has declared any holiday for schools, colleges, or offices. The deputy commissioners of respective areas of the state are given a free hand by the government to act according to the situation.
However, it is being believed that the Karnataka bandh will affect the transportation services in the state as most of the auto and cab unions have announced participation and support to the state bandh. The organizations participating in the Bandh include the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC), Lorry Owners Association and Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU).
