Karnataka PUC 2nd Year Exam 2022: Over 6.8 Lakh students to sit for PUC 12th exam; Hijabs not allowed
Across all the 1,076 centres, Karnataka PUC Class 12 Board Exam will be held from 10:15 am to 1:30 pm. 15 minutes of reading time will be given to the students prior to the commencement of the exam.
Karnataka PUC 2nd Year Exams 2022 Begins
Karnataka PUC 2nd Year Exam 2022: More than 6.8 lakh (6, 84,255) students will appear for the Karnataka Pre-University Certificate (PUC) second-year exam starting from Friday, April 22, according to the data shared by the Board. Across all the 1,076 centres, Karnataka PUC Class 12 Board Exam will be held from 10:15 am to 1:30 pm. 15 minutes of reading time will be given to the students prior to the commencement of the exam. COVID-19 protocols to follow during Karnataka PUC 2nd Year exam 2022
PUC 2nd year exams 2022 are beginning with Logic and Business Studies papers. Students appearing in the Karnataka PUC exam must note that hall ticket is mandatory. The authorities have been directed to strictly follow COVID-19 guidelines (carrying face masks, hand sanitisers and following social distancing) inside the examination hall. Considering the pertaining COVID-19 pandemic situation, candidates need to follow the COVID-19 guidelines mentioned in their hall ticket.
Talking about state government's preparations for the PU exams, Karnataka Education Minister BC Nagesh said, "The entire PUC examination process will be held under the surveillance of police and there will be CCTV cameras for round-the-clock monitoring.”
Students in Hijab not allowed
Following the previous orders, female students wearing hijab would not be allowed to appear for Karnataka PUC exam 2022. Reaching the exam centres at least 30 minutes prior to the allotted time is advisable. Students must carry their admit cards. Any jewelry (or any metal items), shoes/footwear with thick soles, and garments with large buttons are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
Mobile phones, electronic gadgets, watches, calculators, their own stationery items, pens, or wallets are also not allowed in the examination hall.
