The AIBE 2021 exam was conducted in offline mode on October 31. 2021. Candidates who qualify in the exam to be issued the Certificate of Practice (CoP)
The Bar Council of India (BCI) has notified that the results of the certification exam will be out in the 1st week of February. The results of the AIBE XV exam would include the qualifying status of the candidate; however, no scores would be released. Candidates who qualify in the AIBE exam will be eligible for the Certificate of Practice (CoP), which would allow them to practice in a court of law.
To qualify in the AIBE exam, the candidate needs to secure 40% marks; those belonging to SC/ST categories need only 35% marks.
Note that the AIBE 2021 exam was conducted out of 100 marks, so ideally a candidate would need 40 marks (or 35 marks in case of SC/ST candidates). However, actual qualifying marks may change if:
- A question (s) is dropped after revision
- If a question is dropped, the total marks would come down. So, the qualifying marks would also automatically come down.
