The exam authority has rung the warning bell to alert candidates that only ten minutes are left for the AMU Law Entrance Exam 2026 to get over.

Candidates must note that the exam is for a total of 100 marks. For each correct answer, one mark will be awarded and -0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong attempts. 

The key to excelling in the AMU Entrance Exam is time management. As comprehension questions take a lot of time, it is good if you attempt them first and quickly. 

The AMU Entrance Exam 2026 has begun. The exam will end at 5 pm. 

The entry to AMU Entrance Exam Hall is now over. 

Candidates will have to enter their QB Number and OMR Response Sheet Number and sign the attendance sheet. The sheet will be circulated candidate-wise for signature.

Students have started arriving for the AMU Entrance Exam Centre 2026 as reporting begins. Many students were seen coming two hours before to avoid any last minute hassle.

The question paper will have five sections: English Language, Current Affairs including GK, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques. 

To fill the AMU Law Entrance Exam OMR Sheet 2026 keep following things in mind

• Use only blue or black ball-point pen
• Mark only one circly against one question amongst the given option
• Do not leave any space in the circle. Incomplete circles will not be considered during evaluation. Questions in which candidates shade two circles will also not be evaluated.

Candidates appearing for the exam must follow these guidelines

• Reach the exam center at least one hour before
• Carry a valid AMU Entrance Exam admit card & photo ID proof
• Maintain discipline
• No communication with others during the exam
• Electronic devices are strictly prohibited. 
• If a candidate is eligible for a scribe due to any disability, they must follow the guidelines as mentioned by the exam authorities.

Though there is no official dress code released by the University. Candidates can follow these guidelines to avoid any problem at the exam centre later

• Wear comfortable cloths
• Do not take any electronic devices
• Do not wear any accessories
• If you wear any religious attire do take prior permission
• Avoid wearing cloths with printed slogans, logos, or graphics may not be allowed.
• Avoid wearing boots or heels

• Go to amucontrollerexams.com
• Enter your login details
• Once logged in, click on the Download Admit Card link available
• Your AMU Entrance Exam 2026 Admit Card will appear on your screen
• Take at least three printouts of the admit card on A4-size paper for future reference.

Candidates are advised to reach the AMU Entrance exam centre by 1 pm. The entry for candidates will begin at 1.30 pm, and no candidate will be allowed to enter the premises after 2.45 pm.

Things to carry in AMU Entrance Exam hall are mentioned below

• Clear printout of AMU Law Entrance Exam 2026 Admit Card
• Original valid photo ID (Original), i.e. Aadhaar Card/ Passport/ PAN Card/ Voter ID/ Driving License.
• Atleast Two passport-size photographs
• Blue/Black ballpoint pens for writing the exam 
• Transparent Water Bottle without any labels.
• Disability Certificate (if applicable).

It must be noted that candidates must use the washroom before the exam begins. Candidates won't be allowed to use washroom in between the exam.

As per the exam pattern, candidates will have to answer 100 questions. Since there is negative marking, candidates must be very careful while marking their answers. 

The AMU Law Entrance Exam will be conducted from 3 pm to 5 pm. Candidates will get 150 questions to answer in the given time period.
