CLAT 2020 registered candidates can now choose to withdraw their application as well as, update exam centre preferences before July 10. Read here to know more. 

The candidates who have registered for CLAT 2020 and, now are willing to withdraw their application due to Coronavirus can choose the option in online mode. The Consortium of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) has decided to give students a choice to opt-out of CLAT 2020 scheduled for August 22. The decision for withdrawal option has been taken by the consortium on June 29 in a video conference meeting. The candidates, moreover, can update their test centre preferences for CLAT 2020 if they are willing to appear for the exam.

On login, candidates will find the following information: 

CLAT 2020 will be conducted on 22nd August 2020, please refer to an important notification about the conduct of exam. Please update your center preferences, if they have changed since you submitted your application form. If you do not do so by July 10, your original preferences will be taken into consideration for allocating test centers. If you wish to withdraw your application, you can do so and leave your account details in the form below. Once again, you will have until July 10 to confirm your preference.

On June 30, the consortium released a notification stating, "Where a candidate withdraws from CLAT 2020, their application fee shall be refunded after a deduction of INR 400 for SC/ST candidates and INR 500 for all other candidates towards processing charges. Refunds will be made by July 18, 2020."
