The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has officially announced that the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 application process will begin from August 1, 2025. Candidates aspiring to pursue undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs at the top National Law Universities (NLUs) must complete their CLAT 2026 Registration by October 31, 2025.

CLAT Exam 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check the CLAT Eligibility Criteria before filling CLAT Application Form 2026:
- For UG (5-Year Integrated LLB)
Candidates must have completed or be appearing for Class 12 or equivalent examination.
Minimum marks required:
General/OBC/PwD/NRI: 45%
SC/ST: 40%
No age limit has been prescribed for UG applicants.
- For PG (1-Year LLM)
- Must have completed or be in the final year of a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree.
Minimum marks required:
General/OBC/PwD/NRI: 50%
SC/ST: 45%
There is no upper age limit for PG applicants either.

- Recent passport-size photograph and signature (JPEG format)
- Class 10 and 12 mark sheets (for UG); LLB mark sheets (for PG)
- Caste/Category certificates (if applicable)
- Domicile certificate (for state reservation, if required)
- Government-issued ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, PAN, etc.)

- Visit the official website; i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in
- Click on ‘Register’ and create your account using your email ID and phone number.
- Verify via OTP, then log in using your registered credentials.
- Fill out the application form with personal, academic, and category details.
- Select your preferred test centres (you can choose up to 3).
- Upload your scanned documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee online via debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.
- Review the form, submit, and download the confirmation page for your records.
