The Consortium of NLUs will conduct the CLAT Exam on December 7, 2025. The CLAT Application Process 2026 will begin on August 1, 2025.  Along with the CLAT 2026 Official notification, the consortium also released the CLAT 2026 eligibility criteria for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The last date to fill CLAT Application Form 2026 is October 31, 2025. Candidates who are looking forward to appear in CLAT 2026 must check the eligibility criteria for five year LLB and LLM courses respectively. The Consortium verifies the eligibility of shortlisted candidates during the counselling process, and candidates must submit supporting documents to ensure their eligibility for admission. Hence, it is crucial to fill out the CLAT 2026 Application Form carefully. 

CLAT 2026 Eligibility: Age Limit 

Candidates must note that there is no age limit to appear in the CLAT Exam. Candidates of any age can appear for CLAT UG and CLAT PG exam if they fulfill the CLAT Eligibility Criteria. 

CLAT UG Eligibility (For 5-Year Integrated Law Courses)

  • Educational Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board.
  • Minimum Marks:

General/OBC/PwD/NRI: 45%

SC/ST: 40%

CLAT PG Eligibility (For LLM)

  • Educational Qualification: LL.B. or equivalent (3-year/5-year law degree).
  • Minimum Marks:

General/OBC/PwD/NRI: 50%

SC/ST: 45%
