CLAT Exam Day Live Updates 2026: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will conduct the CLAT 2026 Exam tomorrow, i.e. December 7, 2025. Candidates must note that the CLAT Exam is held only in one slot, i.e., from 2 pm to 4 pm. The CLAT Exam will be held in more than 140+ CLAT Test Centres across the country. Once the exam is over, the CLAT Answer Key 2026 will be released within a few hours. 

It must be noted that the CLAT Exam for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses will be held together at the same exam centre. The Consortium will publish CLAT 2026 Answer Key PDF on Consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates can check all the latest updates on CLAT 2026 including CLAT Exam difficulty level, section-wise update, CLAT Answer Key Date and time and other details below.

    How to download CLAT 2026 Admit Card?

    Candidates can follow these steps to download the CLAT 2026 Hall Ticket

    • Go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in
    • Enter Login details
    • You will be redirected to a new window
    • Click on the admit card link
    • Download
    • Check the details mentioned
    • Take at least three printouts
    • Keep it safe

    Note: CLAT Hall Ticket 2026 should be kept safely until the admission process is over as it will be required at every step.

    CLAT 2026 Exam Day Live Updates: Guidelines for PWDs and Specially abled persons

    Candidates who have applied under the PwD and the Specially-abled category must follow these guidelines

    • Carry disability certificate
    • Only scribe/ reader assistance for whom the application was filed will be allowed
    • Extra time will be given
    • To ensure comfort and easy access a special seating arrangement will be done
    • The entry to the exam hall will be half an hour earlier than for other candidates, to ensure they are comfortable

    Is CLAT 2026 Exam Pattern Revised?

    The Consortium revised the CLAT Exam Pattern in 2024. Hence, no revision was brought in CLAT 2026 Exam Pattern. Before 2024, the number of questions asked in CLAT Exam were 150. After the revision, the total number of questions reduced to 120.

    CLAT 2026 Reservation Criteria REVISED

    The reservation criteria for NALSAR Hyderabad has been revised. The notice stated, "For both UG and PG: The SC of TL category has been sub divided into 3 sub-groups as SC-TL (Group I), SC-TL (Group II) and SC- TL(Group III). Candidates are requested to view the Telangana State Rationalisation of Reservations of SC Act document for clarification regarding which Schedule castes belong to which group available."

    Those who have been allotted the Test Centre in Lucknow City for writing CLAT 2026 at Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Govt. Girls PG College Sector 11, Rajajipuram, Near New Taxi Stand, Lucknow 226017 must note that the test centre has been changed. Now, the new test centre is  Lucknow Public College, A-Block Centre Address: Rajajipuram, Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) Pin 226017.

    CLAT 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

    On the day of the CLAT 2026 exam, candidates must not forget to carry following items to their designated test center

    • CLAT 2026 Hall Ticket
    • A valid ID proof. It can be a Aadhar card, driver's license, passport, voter ID, etc.
    • Carry a clear passport photograph that matches with the one printed on your admit card.
    • Those who apply under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category must carry their required certificate.
    • Carry black/blue ball point pen
    • Carry a transparent bottle
    • Candidates can carry analog watch to help them keep track of time during the exam. Digital watches or smartwatches are not allowed.
