CLAT 2026 Exam Guidelines

Consortium of National Law Universities has officially released admit cards for December 7 CLAT 2026 exam. Students can now download their hall tickets of CLAT exam from official portal. 

With just over a week left for CLAT 2026, NLU has released admit cards, announced exam day guidelines and several amendments for PwD candidates. Check important details from pattern to PwD guidelines and last-minute tips here. 

NLU CLAT 2026: Exam Date and Timing 

Common Law Admission Test for session 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. exam will be held in a single shift for both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) applicants seeking admission to law courses. 

CLAT 2026 Exam: What's New? 

Consortium has revised PwD guidelines for CLAT 2026. Now, students with over 40% disability will be considered for PwD category in examination. As a result, these students will get an extra 20 minutes for each hour during examination. This change in CLAT exam guidelines aims to ease process and make it more accessible for differently-abled students. 

CLAT 2026 Exam: What Remains Unchanged 

Despite a change in PwD guidelines for students, main structure of CLAT 2026 remains same. exam will be conducted in its usual offline mode, pen-and-paper-based mode. exam pattern also remains same, with 120 MCQs. 

Further, there is no change in marking scheme of CLAT 2026. +1 mark for every correct answer will be awarded, while 0.25 mark for every wrong answer will be deducted.
