CLAT 2026: The Consortium of NLUs will begin the CLAT Registration 2026 on August 1, 2025. Candidates must note that the CLAT 2026 Application Form will be released online. The official CLAT website is consortiumofnlus.ac.in.  The CLAT Application Process is completely online. The last date to fill CLAT 2026 Application is October 31, 2025.

Some NLUs like NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, WBNUJS Kolkata are ranked among the top law institutes in India. Check NIRF rankings, faculty profile and alumni base.

Research past placement reports, firms visiting campus, average salary packages and internships.

Some are known for specific specialisations. Shortlist them.

Certain NLUs provide state domicile reservations, which might help in securing admission based on your category and home state.

Check hostel facilities, academic infrastructure, extracurricular offerings, and peer quality.

Passport-size photograph (JPEG format, 20 KB – 500 KB)
Date of Birth proof
Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
LLB degree mark sheets
Category certificate
ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card, etc.)
