CLAT 2026 Revised Merit List Hearing: Allahabad High Court will begin the hearing process against CLAT 2026 merit list. The case is a challenge against the Allahabad HC order to revise CLAT 2026 merit list. This direction by the court followed a petition by a minor (Avneesh Gupta), who argued that despite accepting his objections against the CLAT answer key 2026 by the expert panel, the consortium did not consider his objections in the final answer key. The outcome of this hearing will determine ‘will clat result 2026 revise’, making thousands of students anxious.
CLAT 2026 Revised Merit List Hearing Date and Time
The hearing will be conducted by a Division Bench of the Allahabad High Court on February 13, 2026. The hearing is expected to begin around 10 AM. The case will be heard by Chief Justice Arun Bhansali and Justice Kshitij Shailendra. The Case Reference is Special Appeal No. 135 of 2026.
CLAT 2026 Revised Merit List: What's the Case About?
A candidate has challenged the CLAT 2026 final answer key, arguing that two options were technically correct. Later, on February 3, a single-judge bench ruled in favour of the student. The judge ordered the Consortium to award marks for both options and re-publish CLAT 2026 merit list within a month.
Will CLAT Counselling 2026 Rounds 4 and 5 be Postponed?
The Round 4 and Round 5 of the CLAT 2026 counselling process is expected to be postponed. The consortium has mentioned that students in Round 1 and Round 2 are safe; those waiting for the Third, Fourth, and Fifth merit lists must wait for a revised CLAT 2026 counselling schedule.

Apart from the CLATAdmit Card, candidates must carry the following documents to the exam centre:
- Passport-sized photograph (same as the one uploaded with the application form)
- A valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter ID)
- Transparent water bottle
CLAT exam day dos:
- Reach examination centre at the reporting time mentioned on your CLAT admit card.
- Carry two copies of the CLAT admit card, one photo ID card, passport size photos
- PwD candidates should carry relevant certificates and documents.
- Carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing attendance sheet
CLAT exam day don'ts:
- Do not carry items such as bags, purses, pencil box, beepers, wrist watch, calculators, mobile phones, electronic devices, scanners, cameras, wireless/Bluetooth transmission or any such communication devices.
- Don't wear closed shoes, jewellery made of metal, jackets, clothes with pockets, mehendi on palms. Socks are allowed inside it.
- Don't wear caps, hoodies or jackets/shirts with pockets
- Don't be late for exam. Entry gates will be closed 15 minutes before the commencement of exam.

The Consortium of NLUs conducts the CLAT Exam from 2 pm to 4 pm. The exam is held only in one slot. There are no shifts in CLAT Exam. The exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode.
