CLAT 2020 registered candidates who have already paid the application fee have been requested to verify their email address. Read here to know more. 

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 application window is open until July 1. Now, CLAT Consortium has requested all the candidates who have registered and filled the application form to verify their email Id as registered. The candidates need to verify their email address before the application window closes. Candidates have to verify the email address so that CLAT consortium sends all the latest information and updates to them as and when announced. 

The official notification published on the website stated, "All students who have made payment for the CLAT 2020 exam are requested to verify their email address. Log in to your account and click the Validate Email button to complete the verification process."

To verify the email address, candidates need to login to their application account and click on 'Validate Email' button given as under:

After this, the pop-up will open up as under: 

You can either click on 'change email address' if you wish to use another email ID or click on 'Request OT' button and receive an OTP to verify the already existing email ID. 

The email verification process will be complete and, you can save and exit from the applicant login account. 

The exam date of CLAT 2020 has not been confirmed yet, however, it will be announced only after July 1. The Consortium states that it will be publishing the notification regarding CLAT 2020 exam date and admit card at least 15 days prior to the exam.  

Recently, CLAT Consortium had surveyed the registered candidates regarding the mode of examination and, three options were given to candidates - 

  • Online proctored exam at home 
  • Online Proctored exam at the centre 
  • Online proctored exam at the nearest NLU

Candidates needed to fill the survey before June 12 and, select their preferences according to the current situation across the country. More details regarding this will be shared by CLAT Consortium soon.
