ILICAT application form 2021 is available online at ilidelhiadmissions.in. To apply, candidates need LLB degree with minimum 50% marks. Last date to complete the application process is August 6.

The Indian Law Institute has released ILICAT 2021 application form. The online application form is available at ilidelhiadmissions.in till August 6, 2021. The application forms were made available online from July 5. To submit the online form candidates will be charged Rs 2,500. This amount is to be paid using online payment modes like net banking / credit card / debit card / wallets, etc.

Indian Law Institute Common Admission Test (ILICAT) 2021 will be held at all India level for admission in 1-year LLM course offered at ILI. The ILICAT date, time and the mode of the exam will be communicated to the registered candidates via their email address and via the official website, ili.ac.in. The communication will be sent a fortnight before the actual exam date.

Steps to fill ILICAT application form

To apply for ILICAT 2021, here are the steps:

1. Register online at ilidelhiadmissions.in using valid email id and mobile number.

2. Verify the OTP to complete registration process.

3. Login with registered email id and password.

4. After that, select the course ‘LLM’.

5. Then fill up personal details, applicant’s details, address details, educational details and upload scanned documents.

6. Fill and submit the declaration.

7. Lastly, pay the application fee.

Those candidates who have an LLB degree with no less than 50% marks can apply for ILICAT 2021. Final year candidates are also allowed to apply.

After the application process is complete, registered candidates will be issued ILICAT 2021 admit card. Admit card will bear the roll number and the centre of the examination with other important details.

In case ILICAT is held offline, then the exams will be held at Indian Law Institute, New Delhi only. Candidates who will qualify in ILICAT will be then called for viva-voce. The mode of viva-voce will be intimated later.

ILICAT 2021 will be held for 140 marks it will be an objective type test. With it a publication / research / writing skill test will be also held. This will be a subjective paper of 40 marks. The candidates who will qualify both ILICAT and the subjective test, will move for viva-voce of 20 marks. Thus, the total selection process will have 200 marks. Also Read: ILICAT 2021 exam pattern

Note that the mode of the subjective paper can be changed to objective paper due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation.

In ILICAT, questions will be framed to test the candidate’s aptitude for research, legal reasoning and comprehension, and basic knowledge in different branches of law. The test will be of 2.5 hours duration. The mode of the exam will be English only. Also Read: ILICAT syllabus

ILICAT 2021 result will be uploaded online only at ili.ac.in and no separate communication will be sent to the students. The final merit list will be drawn out of 200 marks only.
