The last date to apply for admission to Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is today. Know how to register and apply online.
The last date to fill and submit the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) application forms for all programmes is today, i.e. August 21, 2020, except for BTech and MTech programmes. The last date to apply for admission to Engineering UG and PG courses is till August 28, 2020. Candidates who have yet not applied for admission to Aligarh Muslim University, are advised to head to the official website of AMU straight away and apply before its too late. Admission to programmes offered at the varsity is done through the AMU Entrance Exam.
Due to the impact caused by COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the varsity had decided to open the application window so that students could apply again without facing any problems. The application window opened on August 14, 2020, and the last date to apply is August 21, 2020. The varsity had introduced new engineering courses, hence the last date to apply for BTech and MTech programmes is till August 28, 2020. Here is the notice released.

How to Apply for AMU Entrance Exam
Candidates can go through the following steps on how to fill and submit the AMU Entrance Exam application form which are as follows:
Step 1: The aspirant will first have to visit the official website of Aligarh Muslim University.
Step 2: On the homepage of the University, the candidate has to click on ‘Admissions & Examinations’ tab which will be present on the portal.
Step 3: Click on ‘Apply Now’ for the course you are interested in applying for.
Step 4: One has to register themselves online by entering the basic details to create a login ID and password.
Step 5: Once the registration is done, proceed to fill the AMU Entrance Exam application form by entering your personal and academic details.
Step 6: Upload the documents according to the size and dimensions mentioned on the AMU Entrance Exam application form.
Step 7: Once the details are filled and documents are uploaded, the candidate has to proceed to pay the application fee via online mode i.e. net banking/credit card/debit card.
Step 8: Once the payment is made, the candidate has successfully applied online for the AMU Entrance Exam.
