Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai is all set to present a Faculty Development Programme on Intellectual Property Rights And Academic Integrity from February 20 to February 26, 2023. The Program will benefit the participants from various segments of the community, viz., Governmental Institutes and Organizations, Academic Institutions, policymakers, Government officials, IP lawyers, legal practitioners, researchers, and academicians.
Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Mumbai is all set to conduct a Faculty Development Programme on Intellectual Property Rights And Academic Integrity. The FDP will be held between February 20 to February 26, 2023.
As per the official notification, the Program will benefit the participants from various segments of the community, viz., Governmental Institutes and Organizations, Academic Institutions, policymakers, Government officials, IP lawyers, legal practitioners, researchers, and academicians.
Corporate professionals, Lawyers, Engineers, Young teachers of Colleges/Department/ Faculty/ from all streams who have not completed more than five years in teaching; and senior research scholars pursuing Ph.D. in Law, Arts, Commerce, Science, Technology, Management, etc; and who aspire to become teachers are encouraged to attend the FDP.
"Academic integrity is the foundation of the academic community. Academic Integrity is a commitment to the core values of honesty, trust, fairness, respect, and responsibility and their role in ensuring the health and vigor of the academic and creative community. Academic integrity and IP are the ethical and legal sides of the same coin; they both address how intellectual property can be employed in a research environment," reads the official notification.
"An important step in cultivating a legal culture in higher education participants is establishing the so-called academic responsibility for academic dishonesty and implementing a mechanism for its enforcement. Considering the immense importance of knowledge dissemination towards IP and Academic Integrity, DPIIT IPR Chair, MNLU Mumbai, and Centre for Research in IP proposes to hold the fourth edition of the Faculty Development Program on Intellectual
Property Rights and Academic Integrity from 20th to 25th February 2023," added the notification.
