MNLU Nagpur: 2nd National Moot Court Competition in Feb 2023

This year, the National Moot Court Competition 2023 will be held from February 10 to February 12, in an offline mode.

Maharashtra's National Law University Nagpur will organise the second National Moot Court Competition 2023 from February 10 to February 12. The provisional registration can be done till December 20, 2022, and the last date for final registration is December 25, 2022.

This year, the competition will take place in the offline mode with the participation of various teams from different law schools across India.

The theme of the MNLU Nagpur's National Moot Court Competition 2023 is an intersection between technology law, criminal law, and constitutional law, which was selected in an effort to brew an enigmatic discussion about the newly developing field of law, as reported by Live Law.

Eligibility Requirements

The participating members must be undergraduate students either pursuing a three-year or five-year integrated law degree from any recognised institute. Each college can only have one team registered for the moot court competition. A team cannot have students from different colleges or institutes.

One team can have three members including two speakers and one researcher.

Interested teams have to pay a registration fee of INR 2500 for Memorial Evaluation Rounds, via online bank transfer. The receipt of the online bank transfer must be attached to the registration form itself.

Prizes and awards

The winning team will get a cash prize of INR 21,000, the runners-up team will get a cash prize of INR 15,000, the best memorial team to get a cash prize of INR 7000, the best speaker - INR 7000, the best researcher-INR 7000, along with a trophy and a certificate of merit.
