NLSIU Bangalore has concluded the NLSAT 2026 exam at 12:30 PM today, April 26, 2026.

The NLSAT 2026 question paper is expected to be of moderate to difficult level as per previous years' analysis. The exam will include sections of English comprehension, logical reasoning, legal aptitude, and general awareness. 

General and EWS candidates have to score at least 75th percentile in Part A to be eligible for Part B. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, or PwD categories, the qualifying is set at the 40th percentile.

The NLSIU Law 2026 exam will end on 12:30 PM. No latecomers will now be allowed to enter the examination premises. 

NLSIU Bangalore has started the NLSAT 2026 exam at 10 AM today, April 26, 2026. 

Candidates must carry their admit card and a valid original government photo ID like an Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID. 

The NLSAT 2026 admit card can be downloaded from the official admission portal. Students have to enter their mobile number and password to download hall ticket. They must check their name, photograph, signature, and ensure exam centre details are correct.

NLSIU Bangalore has started the entry for NLSAT 2026 exam at the examination centres. Students appearing for the exam must reach before the gate closing time. 

Many law aspirants consider NLSAT more tougher than CLAT because of subjective writing component and negative marking for unattempted questions. While CLAT focuses on speed and accuracy in MCQs, NLSAT needs analytical writing.

NLSIU Bengaluru offers a total of 120 seats for the 3-Year LLB (Hons.) program including quotas for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories.There is a 25% horizontal reservation for "Karnataka Student" category.

The National Law School Admission Test (NLSAT) is conducted for admission to 3-Year LL.B. (Hons.) course at National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru.

The part-wise NLSAT 2026 marking scheme is provided below:

The NLSAT 2026 exam reporting time is 8:30 AM. Students must reach atleast 60 minutes before the exam starting time to ensure timely security checking. 

The NLSAT 2026 Part A consists of 75 multiple-choice questions, while Part B contains 75 marks of subjective questions. It is important to perform well in Part A because NLSIU only checks the Part B scripts of students who rank in the top 1:5 ratio based on Part A marks.

Yes, there is a negative marking for Part A in NLSAT exam. Students can loose 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer and unattempted questions.

The NLSAT 2026 exam for the 3-year LLB program will be conducted on April 26, 2026. The exam will be conducted in a single afternoon session from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates must reach the exam centres at least 60 minutes before the gates close to complete verification and security checks.
