
The NLSIU teams have won the 15th edition of the NUJS-Herbert Smith Freehills National Corporate Law Moot Court Competition 2023 and also the 24th D. M. Harish Memorial International Online Moot Court Competition 2023 organised by Government Law College, Mumbai.
NLSIU team comprising Rakshit Agarwal, II Year, BA LLB (Hons), Utkarsh Panda, II Year, BA LLB (Hons), and Tarun Ashok, II Year, BA LLB (Hons) won the 15th edition of the NUJS-Herbert Smith Freehills National Corporate Law Moot Court Competition 2023. The Competition was held at the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. The NUJS-HSF Moot Court Competition is organized by the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) in association with Herbert Smith Freehills LLP (HSF), one of the world’s leading international law firms, with a global presence.
Also, another team of NLSIU which comprised Vedika Warrier, II year, BA LLB (Hons), Nandini Sharma, II year, BA LLB (Hons), and Manhar Bansal, II year, BA LLB (Hons), has won the 24th D. M. Harish Memorial International Online Moot Court Competition 2023 organised by Government Law College, Mumbai. The team also bagged the Best Memorial Award at the competition. Manhar Bansal was also awarded the Best Speaker (Finals) in the prestigious competition.
The D.M. Harish Foundation sponsors the D.M. Harish Memorial Government Law College International Moot Court Competition in honour of the late distinguished advocate Mr. D M Harish. The competition is organised in collaboration with the Moot Court Association of Government Law College (Mr. D.M. Harish’s alma mater).
